Cloud access control for gates, doors, and vehicle entries—run from a browser, with hardware that stays on your LAN.

Assign people, cards, PINs, and schedules in GateAndDoor.App. The cloud pushes that access list to on-site control boards. Visitors use a credential reader (card or fob) or a reader with keypad at the gate or door. You open doors remotely, review events, and keep working when the WAN is down because decisions still happen on the board.

Use the web app on a phone, tablet, or computer (including Mac). Each site also needs one LAN bridge: GateAndDoor Desktop (Windows, macOS, or Linux—included with every paid plan) or a sold GateAndDoor Gateway. For more information, plans, or an estimate, contact us.

Camera and keypad

The same system can control more than a front gate: pedestrian doors, parking, lockers, and other dry-contact openings your installer wires to a compatible board.

Discover compatible controllers on the local network (through Desktop or Gateway)

Upload the access list to the board; download and search swipe/event records

Compatible hardware

We do not lock you into a proprietary reader brand. Today’s jobs use GateAndDoor.App-compatible TCP/IP Wiegand controllers (tested 1-door / 2-reader, 2-door / 4-reader, and 4-door / 4-reader boards; firmware 7.70 minimum, 9.c0 tested) and standard Wiegand field readers. Contact us before you buy a board if you are unsure. Additional controller families are on the roadmap; they are not day-one support until we list them as tested.

Wired TCP/IP on the LAN (Desktop or Gateway talks to the board; the browser does not)

Reader input: Wiegand (26-bit common; other bit lengths when the board and our format settings match)
1–4 doors / 1–4 readers depending on the board
Offline decisions on the board if the internet drops
Typical reader cable: shielded, 22 AWG, keep runs under about 80–100 m (260–330 ft)
Encrypted proprietary credentials (many HID / Indala / similar formats) are not implied compatible unless we encode and test that format

Field readers (today)

Two jobs, two heads: credential-only (card/fob) and credential + keypad (PIN)
125 kHz proximity or 13.56 MHz MIFARE Classic / DESFire, as long as the reader outputs Wiegand to the board
Outdoor IP-rated housings; we prefer solid-state backlit keypads (bare finger, 5-key always lit, full backlight a short time after a key or card) when the site needs a PIN pad
DESFire at the card is strong; the Wiegand cable to today’s boards is still cleartext. Encrypted reader-to-panel (OSDP) is the next hardware step—not a SKU on this page yet

Branded GateAndDoor wall readers and our own edge controller are in development. They are not listed for sale here. Do not assume a custom reader or OSDP panel is shipping until we say so in writing.
